my birthday dinner at the melting pot

finally finally, i braved myself for buffet AFTER the stanchart marathon, didnt want to carry so much weight with me while i run u see.

got ourselves some vouchers (which wasnt really worth the while, cos there are similar credit card promotions going on every now and then) and headed for the Melting Pot for dinner.

finally ended the day with a stroll to Great World City, admiring the many condo projects along river valley road. someday i'll be staying in one of those. =)

JOY is BMW

managed to also catch the BMW World exhibition in its final moments on sunday!

registration itself was a pretty awkward situation...
staff: "would you like to schedule a test drive with BMW?"
me:
option 1: "erm, i have a driving license but i cant drive!"
option 2: "muz i pay for the car if i get into an accident?"
and i opted for option 3: "better not... ... (with a sheepish smile)"

World Cup frenzy!

Things a girl (particularly me) does during a soccer match:

1. Ogle at the handsome men running helter skelter over a ball.
2. Check out the latest soccer boots in fashion. (Beckham used to don a very bright silver pair)
3. Talk big. About how the players should have kicked such that they score, while secretly know that they themselves haven't run a mile in their entire lives (minus the compulsory 2.4km run in schools)
4. Sip bubble tea, especially that from KOI.
5. And camwhore. That's me with The Husband so oblivious to me, I could complete an online LV purchase using his money. :)

my off day (part 2)

my off day started even earlier than the usual time i wake up for work! cos it's mmt's graduation and we're going off to convocation! although there were only 2 admission tix, i dun care, i die die want to squeeze myself in! hahaha...
and my reward? FOOD (again)! catering was from kriston, which serves really really solid laksa. this was my 2nd bowl. i was desperately trying to convince myself, it's not really that much right? their serving was quite small. =p

our dear trusted perper has been toiling day and (sometimes) night non stop, from the east to the west and back, and finally he has reached 99,999km mileage! *applause!*

just when i thought the odometer can only fit 5 digits max... i was wrong! tadah! 100,000km (and still going strong!)and a very contented me.. i was donning the add-5-cm-to-my-height hair.. but apparently i juz can seem to capture it. =(i *heart* my taxi & my driver!
