4 free tix to the Harry Potter movie! wat a pity i've alrdy watched it, so the evil sister 赚到!
forrest GLAD!
in a desperate attempt not to look bad on SCM2010, i went jogging on the treadmill. terrible mistake. cos my iPhone decided to jog together with me. it fell and went down the moving belt and onto the ground. =( =( =(
ok, im supposed to do tis thing 3 times over to get 10km right? i'm so dead.

yet another bday celebration!
i tink i am on my way to becoming fat tis month. but at the same time, i'm enjoying all the bday celebrations! ha good food good company! opted for CURRY FAVOR at stamford house. wat a pity, that the place will soon be closed on 25 Nov, and Stamford House will soon be gone... arent they supposed to be keeping beautiful buildings as heritage or something? =(
anyhows, the food turned out to be better than expected. a lot of curry, a lot of katsu with cheese... tis pic aint doing the food any justice, and wats more, curry comes in another Aladdin lamp lookalike jug..

bday at home!
celebrated bday at home with mom's famous (but v healthy) steamboat, speaking of which, i should really contemplate bringing her to see the steamboats stores along bugis. i tink she will freak out. hahaha.
and cos the evil sister is the photographer, she aint taking any nice pictures of me! *frowns* and it doesnt help that she insisted on standing BEHIND me so that she will look SMALLER! zzz.

so this is the best one i can find. lousy photographer! hmph!
yay! happy birthday to ME!

birthday dinner! again!
this has gotta be by far one of the best bday dinners for the entire year for us!
given the atas-ness of the place, it didnt help when we had weiwei among us creating a din and making our table look like something out of a tze-char stall. -.-
and the very kiam kanna us returned the appetiser snacks and the wet tissues, hoping that that will contribute to another tiny pincer of a crab. ha!
but i muz say, we totally enjoyed the FOOD and the FELLOWSHIP!
~coffee pork ribs, taste and smell delicious to me, although sceptical tim said that he had tasted even better ones elsewhere.~
so far... we were all eating normally... until the CRABS came... den we went amok... ordered salted egg crabs and creamy crabs! they're a must-try!
and apparently, the 馒头aint enough for us to suck dry the creamy cream, we HAD to order another plate! hahahha.... this is madness.
~macha green tea red beany cake, thanks to kimmywawa~
i guessed the crabs got us very distracted we almost forgot we are celebrating bdays until the cake came... we were all doe-eyed and looking dreamily at our arriving cake, until the waiter (aka staff of the month) came, asked how many candles we need on the cake, and went back into the kitchen WITH THE CAKE... we went " . . . . . . . . . " for 2 seconds and then burst out into hysterical laughter for the next 10 minutes!
all in all, we ate pretty reasonable priced stuffs i would say, for a seafood restaurant, we were indeed frugal. perhaps we should celebrate bdays once every say, quarter next year? den we can go for more UP food. hehe...
and as they always say, it's the fellowship more than the food. so thanks guys for remembering and turning up to celebrate our bdays. u guys rock! LUVYA!

The Standard Chartered Marathon 2010.
even though it's juz a 10km run, i muz be nuts to sign up for it. i can swim 10km, but i can't run! but oh well, since it's not how we started but how we end the race (literally), i have to put aside any "possible" reasons for not turning up, and to actually turn up for the race indeed. -.-
oh God, give me the strength to complete this race (literally)!

my birthday present from W378!
♥ yay! for my 21st birthday for the nth time, i am getting greater surprises from the CG!
well apparently, the Husband said he spotted angie at the artbox shop when i entered, but i was too engrossed with the assortment of schedulers to notice her... restrospectively, i reckoned she was the one who's tasked to get the cake!
yea, i got a green looking cake, even after i finished i still dunno wat's the flavor of it. so conclusion... GREEN = GREEN TEA. haha... (no pic, cos it was devoured v quickly by the Husband... i ate the macaron though!)
♥ and there's flowers! i lurve flowers! yay!
♥ and my pressie... tadah! (note: iPad not included). but i lurve it! cos it's PINK!
♥ oh... and did i mention, it came together with my LV paper bag! hahaha tis is super hilarious! Thank God it was not spelt wrongly, else it would be "made in china" liao...

the day after a public holiday
i thought that a public holiday in the middle of the week sounded real cool. after all, it denotes a break from the FIVE day workweek.i was wrong. it's thursday today and i'm in the office feeling like ''why are there 2 mondays this week?!"
and it doesn't help that two of my colleagues are at off-site meetings, while another one is in reservist. that leaves me to suffer the harsh cold from the not-so-smart air conditioning system.
nonetheless, i am indeed counting down to the end of the day. hopefully, the SMRT system will not be as crowded today than any other days. =\
CURRENT MOOD: VERY BLUE

JOY is BMW
managed to also catch the BMW World exhibition in its final moments on sunday!
registration itself was a pretty awkward situation...
staff: "would you like to schedule a test drive with BMW?"
me:
option 1: "erm, i have a driving license but i cant drive!"
option 2: "muz i pay for the car if i get into an accident?"
and i opted for option 3: "better not... ... (with a sheepish smile)"
~cars galore! they're selling the EXPERIENCE!
and a suspicious pram in the foreground. maybe it's BMW manufactured too...~
~and this intriguing gotham city lookalike car, which i tink no one in their right frame of mind will ever get one of such cars....~
~and finally, one of the street buskers, smarter than the ones at orchard road... after all MBS is sheltered and air conditioned. =)~

cycling at UBIN!
honestly, i havent been to ubin via the proper manner (ie the $2.50 ferry) before. the last time i went which was aeons ago, i was sabo-ed into thinking that a "leadership camp" was all about leading... and while the canoe ride the last time round was fun, it was easier to travel by ferry, ha.
i was thankful that i still remembered how to cycle and to keep myself from falling. the skies didnt show favor upon us though and rained shortly after our wild adventurous ride. sought shelter at a nearby near-to-desolate exhibition room. played some games and entertained ourselves for a while.
food at ubin were also not v appetising... zzz. it's a whooping $8 for a plate of seafood (minimal) fried rice! but since we were caught in the rain. too bad. juz had to settle for food and drinks.
