a heavy downpour landed us in carl's junior instead...all in all, we had fun.. games, food, birthday celebration, HUGE birthday gift, laughs and more laughs!

the S.P.A. experience

with reference to the previous post, we are attempting to "become more atas oreddi!" ha! yaps, i call it THE experience, cos there seems to be no way i can capture it in pictures, either the lights are too dim or my LG phone is lousy (L for lousy, u see)

as we moved on later into the night, it seemed like the "atas-ness" in us juz faded as we headed for our nonetheless high-class prata! haha..

sandwich gala

as promised.. i remembered to post up photos of the sandwich competition (making, not eating).. except that i haven uploaded the photos yet.. hahaha! hope u girls had fun! =)

lessons learned:

1. how to make full use of ingredients for face mask
2. learned how to slice cucumber, neatly.
3. sandwiches can come in many forms, trees, cats, hearts, numbers, etc.

on a side note, i learned a new word too.. "ordinated"..
from the Dictionary, it says: Mathematics. (in plane Cartesian coordinates) the y-coordinate of a point: its distance from the x-axis measured parallel to the y-axis. HMMZ.

glad da bargain queen!

simply *heart* vouchers and discounts! especially in tis time of economy downturn, my bank has been downturn-ing too.. so muz take some preventive measures before i end up in the red.

#1 Haagen Dazs! nothing beats having ice cream as my comfort food, EIGHT scoops somemore! (although it leaves us thinking how come we went for such expensive ice cream instead of the 2 pints...)
#2 Manhattan Fish Market! in my opinion, the better choice compared to Fish & Co.
ok.. after all the food... i find myself still looking forward to tonight's sandwich competition.. haha. more pics of food coming up!

Optimism Or Sheer Stupidity?

we were too obsessed eating, savoring the crepes, and of cos spinning ridiculous tales abt a particular terrorist and his special diet of wild boar-turned-fish with bayonet, and we forgot to take pics of the other half of the people present, and the remaining food, so there's no part B. =D

anyway, it turned out to be a nice and cosy fellowship.. would love to have more of such stuffs in future! (aaron shall be the next organiser!)

earth hour

brilliant ideas (contributed by my dear colleagues) of wat to do during that one hour of darkness:

1. go shopping, shops wont be closed.
2. watch tv in the dark
3. and the best-est of all... catch a movie. we'll be in the dark anyway.

nah! i am REALLY gonna contribute my part! 8.30pm i should be on the way back home in the train, so my house lights will be off! yay!

lizards & toilets dun go together!

while showering with uber-hot water, from the corner of my eye, i noticed tis crawlie loitering near the toilet door... omg, it's a lizard.

well, actually it's not that bad if it juz stayed put and not move till i came out of the shower. but it muz purposely loiter towards me! i tink it grew restless after realising that i am taking longer than usual with my hot shower, so it attempted its exit toward the tiny toilet window and now it's obviously dying from the heat.

the stoopid lizard did not make it to the tiny window, but it finally found a hiding place... BETWEEN the door and the doorframe. zzz.

lidat how i open the door after my shower, lah! angry! i half intended to pretend its non-existence squash it to death with the door. but the thought of cleaning up is pretty.. mind-boggling.

and so it was, i took a one-hour shower. zzz. waste my time!

i'm Hot!

yet another farewell party in the office... ooh i muz say i am a newbie to this pizza hut "Hot" button thingy.. apparently this heat sensitive sticker will display "HOT" when stuck to the box. else we get a free pizza. convinced that tis is almost fool proof and that there is a very very slim chance that we will ever get the free pizza.. i've decided to stick the sticker to myself.

Result: I'm Hot. haha!

alright, i am an idling emo now.. so i've decided to put together the collection of photos we have taken all these years in the minitstry..

change is constant, but sometimes some change is uncalled for, almost hinging on absurdity.

so for now, let me indulge in the victories, joy and laughter we've had in this walk. after all, these are the people who fought alongside with me, sometimes shielding me from attacks, and sometimes from the naggings of boss (heh). in any case, i am grateful for them.
