SOT 2008 Graduation

in a blinking of an eye, the SOT students are graduating. seems like yesterday when I graduated. keke..

nevertheless, we are simply so proud of our pple, esp of those who availed their time, effort and money to go be trained.

it was a mad rush on sunday morning. but i managed to snap some pics, and the funnyest-pic-of-the-day had to go to none other than our dear handsome peter (note: peter and handsome goes together, it's kinda a trademark thingy. =p)

Of fruits & chOc (fOndue)~

mustered up courage to drive to the ever crowded geylang... juz to get FRUITS! cant help but took a pic of durians while holding my breath. keke.and headed back home for choc fondue! it's been ages since we last made a choc fondue by ourselves. more to come plsssss! =)
initially turned out to be a disaster, but glad saved the day! hahah. shall not blog abt the unglam parts though.

singapOre firewOrks festival!

i visited the singapore fireworks festival!

it was mad rush to:
1. enter the CBD.
2. find a parking lot amidst the few-thousand-over available parking lots in suntec.
3. find a table in the food court.
4. squeeze past the crowd, most of which are the watch-for-free audience. (hehe for once, i am watching the fireworks with a paid ticket.)
5. climb up the never ending steps to our seats.

but still, i caught the fireworks! yayyay!

chill out.

finally had a chance to attend an event as a participant instead of an organiser. really much less stressed.

the cost of the event, or rather the food, was $5 per head. and i muz say that it was good, cos i like pasta. keke.
the place was somewhat ulu, and we made 3 u-turns before we found the place finally. abit like the 3rd place. but i would say much nicer.

the night went on with some games, performances, dances and songs and stuff. quite hilarious some of them.

hmmz, there were alot of hiccups along the way too. like the mic cannot work, the screen showed some out of point desktop pic of the laptop being plugged, the i/c played the wrong song, but the weird thing was that, how could they juz laughed it off so happily. maybe we are too stressed back home. when i look at other pple run an event, it seemed so easy. y. y. y.

Breakfast
Phelps kick starts his day and his metabolism with three fried-egg sandwiches, but with a few customised additions: cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and, of course, mayonnaise.

Amuse-bouche out of the way, he throws back two cups of coffee and sits down to an omelette - containing five eggs - and a bowl of grits, a porridge of coarsely ground corn. He's not finished yet. Bring on the three slices of French toast, with powdered sugar on top to make sure there's no skimping on the calories. And to finish: three chocolate chip pancakes.

Lunch
With breakfast wearing off and the hunger pangs biting, Phelps downs half a kilogram - ie a whole packet - of enriched pasta and two large ham and cheese sandwiches. On white bread with loads of mayo on top. To remove any chance that his body will run out of fuel, he washes this down with about 1,000 calories of energy drink.

Dinner
Time to load up on carbs for the next day's training. Another half kilo of enriched pasta goes down the hatch with a chaser of an entire pizza and another 1,000 calories of energy drinks. And so to bed. As Phelps told US television channel NBC yesterday: "Eat, sleep and swim, that's all I can do."
