not that we only get to find pretty dresses during the GSS, but we get to find AFFORDABLE, VALUE FOR MONEY BEST BARGAINS! anything from the pretty lil pink PJ you wear to sleep, to the pink haute couture long dresses fit for a queen.

speaking of which, while we go crazy over the latest fashion and fads, the designer who ruled over Parisian haute couture for over 6 decades still had to caution us that "fashion fades, only style remains the same". Do we Singaporeans on this very small island have our own unique sense of style? *raises eyebrows*

as much as i do like to criticise the pple trodding down Orchard Road, let me first take a look at myself (and my trusted friends whom i know will not sue me for.. misrepresentation). ha!

from the classic to the casual, we have it ALL!

the (flora & fauna) themed:
the deluded (after watching 还珠格格):the less than compatible glasses:
choosing a correct pair of glasses is also an ART, pardon my embarrassing fren.
the.. erm.. undressed (underneath the blanket):
disclaimer: actually got clothes on, lah. we are conservative people.

the flip flops in the weirdest of places:
who says people wear flip flops cannot buy porsche! dun pray pray ah!
the atas:
wat to do, we cannot afford expensive brands ourselves, so we can only gaze longingly at the bears who can.

SO! the conclusion is... like how Ms Coco has aptly put: fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.

and i thank God for the many many fashionable friends around me, who dared to live their lives walking around in flip flops and PJs, YET they carry with them a heart of compassion and love. =)
